Position: Temporary Front Desk Assistant

Job Summary:
This temporary position provides front desk administrative support to the Human Resources Department during peak agricultural seasons. This position also provides support to administrative teams, operations teams and job seekers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provides quality customer service at the front desk by incorporating respectful, patient, positive, and solution-focused behaviors, and attitudes.
2. Provides a welcoming presence, an attitude of service and makes every attempt to meet the needs of internal and external patrons.
3. Greets people seeking assistance, gives directions/answers questions regarding employment opportunities at Coleman Agriculture.
4. Actively collaborates with Human Resources Department and Administrative team.
5. Assists with hiring and onboarding activities such as application completion, orientations and applicant tracking information.
6. Reviews and Processes forms under the direction of the HR Assistant
7. Conducts general office filing and maintenance.
8. Research information as needed, including using various confidential records and databases.
9. Types, copies, translates documents, files, distributes, tracks, and replenishes various forms and materials.

Qualifications:
1. Bilingual Spanish / English
2. College degree (preferred but not required).
3. Positive, team-oriented attitude.
4. Ability to make independent decisions using critical thinking skills and available resources, as well as anticipating and/or recognizing problems and referring them immediately to the right person for resolution.
5. Computer literate, proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
6. Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to computers, copier/scanner, and fax machine.
7. Excellent communication skills, including verbal, non-verbal, and written.
8. Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management, and general office administration.
9. Standard Class C Drivers license is required as travel to various farm locations may be required (mileage will be reimbursed)

Experience:
1. Minimum 2 years of office administration experience or related field.
2. Minimum of 1 year of customer service or reception experience.

Additional Information
1. Ability to actively collaborate with a variety of individuals from the public with diverse cultural, social, economic, and educational backgrounds.
2. Compensation DOE-$17-$20
3. 30 hours per week Monday – Friday, From March (TBD) 2024 – June 15th, 2024
4. Part Time from June 15, 2024-September 30, 2024: 20-24 hours a week Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
